From Indira at autoimmunewellness.com
Ingredients
- 1 large juicy fresh lemon
- 4-6 fresh mint leaves
- ½ inch by ½ inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
- ¼ cup filtered water
- ⅛ teaspoon black salt (Kala Namak) or any sea salt
- 6-8 ice cubes
- About 4 oz of sparkling mineral water
Instructions
Cut the lemon into 4 pieces. Cut the rind from each piece. Also remove all the seeds from the pieces. Add them to a blender.
Add the fresh mint and the ginger as well. Add the water and blend for 30 seconds (don't blend for too long).
Pour this mixture through a large strainer or a nut milk bag or cheesecloth to collect the juice.
Transfer the blended juice to a tall serving glass. Add the black salt (or the sea salt) and the ice cubes. Add the sparkling water to fill the glass up. Serve immediately.
